(Relevant part from 5:35)

Although I’m sure there are fundamental differences between destryoing Unicron and debating Joe Biden, the basic “do not lose” principle should universally apply.

Ahead of tonights veep debate, Alaskan hockey mom Sarah Palin’s strategy has taken a dramatic turn as she unveiled her intention to attack Senator Biden. As opposed to what? Offering him tea and biscuits? One wonders if only in the 11th hour has she suddenly grasped the concept of a debate.

That said, at least that’s one things she’ll have a grasp of.

Figured I’d embed this, I don’t know what effect it’ll really have as most of the people I know either can’t vote or are already stalwart democrats. But as a concerned member of the international population, I would like to do my bit for the team.

As the debacle continues, I find myself increasingly terrified of the global knock-on effect should the McCain/Palin ticket slip into to the whitehouse. I have little confidence in McCain, even less so in his health and the more I learn, the more I feel the choice of Palin as VP candidate is highly irresponsible. It’s almost like this a vote for the prom King and Queen.

Interesting article (although flatly denied of course, in the spirit of international relations) on Gordon Brown sticking his neck out for Obama. I think this rather fairly reflects the attitude of the rest of the world when it comes to the decision of who should sit in the driving seat of the most powerful economic, political and military behemoth in the world.
